What Can I Expect?
During our couples sessions you will both have equal time to speak, reflect and be heard. I act as a neutral facilitator, ensuring the dialogue stays respectful and constructive. You will leave each session with practical strategies that you can apply immediately in everyday life.

Do we both need to attend every session?
Yes, but occasional individual sessions can be arranged if useful. Please note that if I am working with you both as a couple, I cannot then work with either of you as individuals in any ongoing way.
Will you take sides?
No. My role is to remain neutral and help you both feel heard while working toward shared goals.
Can therapy help if we are considering separation?
Yes. Whether you wish to rebuild or part amicably, therapy provides clarity and support. My background of being a family solicitor for 20 years means that I am uniquely able to help you navigate the issues if you do decide to separate.
Is couples therapy suitable for unmarried partners or same-sex couples?
Absolutely. All committed partnerships are welcome.
Do we have to be in crisis before we go to couples therapy?
No, couples therapy can help all couples to learn how to navigate their relationship and deal with conflict.
How many sessions will we need?
Many couples notice improvements after four to six sessions, but each relationship is unique.
